Voice from the Threshold
A Companion to Storying Silence
Start Here: Voice From the Threshold
-
A threshold—a place of crossing, not escape
A sanctuary for listening rather than performing
A practice of returning to voice before shaping it for others
You don’t need to comment, share, or respond.
You don’t need to agree with anything.
You don’t even need to listen to every piece, nor listen in any order.
You are invited to come as you are, listen when you can, and let what you hear settle in your own way.
-
It is not instructional or prescriptive
It is not therapy
It is not a place to debate or explain yourself
Think of it as a small clearing—one that exists alongside the world, not in opposition to it.
-
You might listen:
While walking
Sitting with a cup of tea
Before writing
Or simply lying down with your eyes closed
There is no right way to be here. The only invitation is to listen without urgency.

This audio practice grows out of my long-standing work with women around voice, silence, and story, particularly how women reclaim authority over their own narratives in a world that often speaks over them. Here is where you can come to hear yourself. And you are welcome.
If you’re new here, welcome.
I’m glad you found your way.
Voice From the Threshold is an audio practice for women who need a quieter place to listen to
themselves, to what they know, and to what has gone unheard beneath the noise of the world.
This is not a podcast in the traditional sense.
There are no interviews, debates, or hot takes.
Nothing here is designed to keep up with the news cycle or compete for attention.
Instead, each short audio reflection (usually 5–8 minutes) offers:
A moment of pause
A gentle invitation into listening
A simple orientation back to your own voice
A writing prompt
Many women arrive here feeling overwhelmed, reactive, or untethered, unsure what they think or
feel anymore, only knowing that something essential has gone quiet inside them.
This series was created for that moment.
